About the Dentists:
Dr.James P. Kostas was born and raised in Burlington and graduated with high honors from Burlington High in 1981. He graduated magna cum laude from Tufts College of Liberal Arts in 1985, and again in 1989 from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Kostas completed a one year General Practice Residency at the Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School. In 1990 he returned to Tufts as a Clinical Instructor of emergency dentistry, radiology, and oral medicine. He was promoted to Assistant Clinical Professor at Tufts in 1994. Since then, he was associated wit dental practices, and now his own office in Burlington represents the state of the art in dental care.

Dr. Joel Alper is our Periodontist. He grew up in Lexington and currently resides in Bedford. He lives with his wife Lori and their 3 children. Dr. Alper's hobbies include running, alpine-skiing, bicycling, photography, and computers.
